This does not surprise me. There seems to be an increasing trend for “super conferences” and similar events which from what I hear often are more style than substance. I wonder if Sugar or Branson are even aware of this kind of feedback from what sounds like a real shambles of an event.

Having booked for today (Monday), all the feedback I was getting via twitter yesterday convinced me to stay at home, but the killer was to hear that the venue was cold.

I do not want to go to an expo and feel cold – it just doesn’t work for me.

As for organisation …… hmmmm. The Business Startup show have got it right now, but in the early days – not.

John Pearce and I spoke about this last year, and we both thought, this would be a weakness.

What a disaster. A friend from the BNI Chapter I attend is exhibiting. I was considering going up to support – glad something else came up, as it seems like this just didn’t work.

I’ll catch up with him at BNI tomorrow to see how it went.
